Public Information Specialist
Public Information Specialist, also known as Public Relations Specialist, work for government agencies and large organizations to promote a positive public image in the media or provide essential information during a crisis.
My responsibilities include but are not limited to developing media strategies that promote a positive public image, organizing interviews between the press and executive staff, and stepping in to manage and alleviate any public relations crises which may occur. Our time is well spent planning and conducting member training on how to properly hold a press conference or an interview when interacting with the media and the public.
In addition to those duties, I also do graphic designing using Canva to create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts. I also perform tasks that includes photography and videography on a regular basis, of which I have taken the courses at the local community college FTCC to become certified, and currently working on being certified in Adobe.

Customer Support Technician
Part of my daily job routine was to conduct customer needs assessment inquiries that would help meeting and exceeding quality standards for services, and the evaluation of customer satisfaction. Primary duties included the installation of Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Verifone equipment, such as point-of-sale equipment, pin pads and tank monitoring systems. I was also tasked with being the first line customer support between my client and major oil companies (MOC) such as BP, Shell, Exxon, Citgo, Marathon and more as well as independent operators in the petroleum industry.

Business Class Technician
As a Business Class Technician, it was my responsibility to get in contact with any customers assigned to me via dispatch to schedule travel to the customers' premises. Upon arrival my many tasks included performing a survey to determine if we can move forward with the installation that day or will any special work be required before moving forward. After the assessment was completed and decision made, I would then install, service reconnect, perform maintenance, or adjust equipment to meet the needs of the customer as described in the work order.

Residential Service Installer
Worked as a contractor for Dish Network through Custom Communication, Inc. Duties at this company included the installing and managing of Dish Network products, while creating opportunities to sell them on new personalized technology. Most of my time in the field was spent on relocating power and placing mounts in the proper location in order for the personal home satellites to communicate with the broadcast satellite in orbit. In order to do this, I would use my skilled learned in the military to shoot an azimuth using a Lensatic Compass to determine what degrees of orientation should be used when pointing the satellite dish.

Avionics Communication Equipment Repairer (94L/94E)
I dedicated a little over 8 years of my life to the United States Army where in enlisted as an Avionics Bench Technician / Electrical Component Repairer(94L/94E). My duties included working on a wide range of equipment, such as radios (FM, AM, VHF, and UHF), Common Missile Warning System, APR-39, ALQ-144.
Due to my exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills I rose through the ranks from Private First Class (PV2) upon entry to Sergeant (SGT) before I was medically discharged. As a Sergeant and squad leader it was my responsibility to providing clear direction and supervision to my technician team and successfully communicating repair plans to senior leaders.
I would consistently share my knowledge of relevant equipment, military policies and procedures, and strategies with those under my command. Once a month I would provide them a mandatory monthly counseling to help identify their strengths and weaknesses, and to provide proper solutions or approaches to resolve anything that would jeopardize the mission.
